Our Team

Matthew is the Managing Partner of Jordanelle Capital. Prior to founding Jordanelle, he worked at Peterson Partners for 10 years, where he was a Partner of Peterson Private Equity and led the creation of Peterson Real Assets. In 2022, Matthew spun out Peterson Real Assets to create Jordanelle Capital. Prior to joining Peterson, he worked at Macquarie Capital in their industrials group, in both Sydney and New York, where he focused on principal transactions in the industrial and infrastructure services sectors. Matthew received a B.Business in Accounting and a B.Laws with first class honors from the University of Technology, Sydney. Matthew is the Chairman of the Board at Crossroads Paper and Incoa Performance Minerals.

Daniel is a Partner at Jordanelle Capital. Prior to joining Jordanelle, he worked at Orion Resource Partners, where he invested in the natural resources space with a focus on metals and mining and was a board member of Mantos Copper. Before Orion, Daniel was a Portfolio Manager at SPX Capital, a Brazil-based hedge fund where he traded crude oil and refined products. Prior to SPX, he worked as a natural gas trader in J.P. Morgan's Global Commodities Group. Daniel received his BA from Yale University in Political Science and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

JR De Agostini is an Operating Partner at Jordanelle Capital. Prior to Jordanelle, JR spent ten years as a Navy SEAL, with three overseas combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan while serving as a team leader. After the SEALs, JR worked as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan in San Francisco. JR then joined Peterson Partners as co-head of Peterson's search strategy. Following Peterson, JR was the COO of Farcast Inc., an aerospace, defense, and logistics company. JR received his BA from the University of Utah and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
